Martial Art Leaders Fight Malaria Worldwide (Press Release)

"On April 25th, Malaria Awareness Day, Choi Kwang Do Martial Art International will launch a malaria awareness, education and fundraising campaign worldwide in partnership with the Malaria Foundation International (MFI). This campaign called “Martial Art Blue Ribbon Fight to End Malaria” will begin at their headquarters in Atlanta, GA. April 25th also commemorates Africa Malaria Day. The End Malaria - Blue Ribbon is a universal unifying awareness symbol of inspiration, hope and strength."

As representatives of Choi Kwang-Do International, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you, the student, to the study of Choi Kwang-Do. Choi Kwang-Do was developed by 9th Degree Grandmaster Kwang Jo Choi as a superior form of exercise, self-defense training, and as a means towards realizing one's highest mental and physical potential.

With our focus on discipline, character-development, and positive mental attitude through our kids martial arts programs and our adults martial arts programs, Choi Kwang-Do provides an enriching experience and valuable opportunity for students of all ages and abilities. Choi Kwang-Do follows a strict code of principles: humility, honesty, gentleness, perseverance, self-control, and unbreakable spirit.

Choi Kwang-Do is non-violent, emphasizing conflict resolution rather than aggression. Choi Kwang-Do teaches students about the applications of avoidance and awareness to every day situations through our kids martial arts programs and our adults martial arts programs. Children are taught what to do if confronted by a bully or a stranger. Adults learn life saving self-defense skills and street awareness while building cardiovascular endurance and enhancing one’s over-all health and longevity.

Our martial arts classes provides students with a fun and safe environment to train in. Choi Kwang-Do techniques are scientifically designed to be easy to learn while non-harmful to the body. Most of all, students have fun while learning valuable life enhancing skills!
